Perseverance is the answer Peter! You have a talent for making the fairly ordinary into a super painting, seeing the shapes and shadows as much as what makes them, if that makes sense.

I went out for a walk in my home town, Hornsea, last week hoping to get some photos as reference for paintings. It was one of those days when nothing really stood out. I was nearly home when I saw this view (on Cliff Rd.). I'm pleased that I hadn't given up.
