Super bridge acrylic painting Peter, great landscape as well, love the colours

Near to my heart. I went to the opening of this suspension bridge as a child. I see that you have captured the windy nature of the region in the streaky sky. Not an easy subject at all with all of those wires. I'm glad you avoided the over engineered superstructure of the neighbouring Brunel railway bridge - never a pretty sight! The view is sensibly done from the Devon side, rater than the dark side (Cornwall). Well done!

Hi Peter, love the detail and foreground, the effect you have captured on the bridge is great, my only critique is the sky, for me, it doesn't follow with the rest of the picture.

Great use of a limited palette and very effective. As a student, I toured the bridge while under construction, walking along and just under one main cable, from shore to shore. An amazing experience! Perhaps I should paint some of the views I took with my camera on that day

Thank you all for your kind comments, very much appreciated. I don't really spend much time on the computer as I would like to but painting is a passion which pulls me in. So everyone who has given me their comments over these last few weeks I will find time to thank them all and also go through all artists portfolio and I will leave my comments. And with concern to putting my work back on (Doubling up) I accidently deleted almost everything, now I'm slowly putting back that which was deleted plus new works.
