Hi Peter. Haven't we seen this one a couple of times before or am I starting to see things?

That kid ! He reminds me of "The Clitheroe Kid" which we always listened to on the " wireless". A lovely piece of nostalgia.

This is about the fourth regeneration of this picture, isn't it? Are you one of those who has accidentally deleted your whole gallery and has therefore re-posted it? I haven't commented on it because it's a reproduction of a photograph which I remember seeing from some 50 years ago - and if I'm being honest, I prefer old photographs to stay as old photographs; not sure I really like paintings so clearly based on them. But then, I'm a miserable old sod, so feel free to ignore this entirely. Even so: we have seen it before, haven't we?

With regards to Robert Jones' comment, this painting seems to have upset you, I am very sorry if you don't like my work. The thing is Robert, I can paint anything providing it's not the firth of forth bridge with redlead paint... it would take to long. Maybe you should take a look at some of my drawings. I don't really care if it's a reproduction of a photograph, I enjoy painting anything. Thank you for your kind comment Marjorie. Ann, I did delet all my work by mistake because I am new to this gallery, so you are not seeing things!!.
