Good composition on the diagonal. Background sets it off beautifully sensitive colours. Love these colourful birds.

Watercolour on Arches NOT paper. 140lb. 1/4 imperial. I certainly have a charm of Goldfinches currently gracing my garden. Highest headcount so far is 18. This specimen is from the internet and was painted this afternoon at art club.
