I can imagine Peter it works really good. Lovely

The only thing that strikes me about it Peter is the amount of one colour as in the russet colour that is dead centre and over on the righthand side....it's a bit over whelming. Other than that it's a really good watercolour Peter, the rocks are great, the composition etc. all work well.

Thanks Fiona and Dennis. I have to agree with you. It does lack 'light to dark' and 'dark to light' contrasts. The colours are not quite so dominating in real life, but as I said when I posted it, I wasn't entirely happy with it. Can't win 'em all!

Watercolour on Arches 140lb NOT paper. 1/2 imperial. Not completely happy with this. I think it lacks counterchange on the bridge and the trees are rather lost on the RHS. It looks better in the flesh!
