A fabulous drawing, of heroic scale ... you are the complete master of this technique.

Dramatic and atmospheric. Impressive

stunning peter

What a bold, dramatic painting! And what patience.

Very, very effective.

I like this too, the steam and the cooling towers are very well done.

This is superb, I agree with all the above comments, fantastic.

This is my latest piece, I'm happy with it. Thanks very much Robert, Angela, Jane, Avril, Lynda, Carole and Karleen.

hi Peter, saw this too, as someone who grew up in the Transvaal, I can really appreciate your rendering of a freezing highveld morning, blindingly bright as always. I have done a couple of railscapes before, and this inspires me to have another go.

Another tour de force how long does it take you to do one of these detailed drawings? What kind of locos are they? I remember riding behind East African Railways metre gauge Garratts in the 1950s' - fantastic machines and beautifully maintained.

A bit late replying, sorry......Thanks Andrew and Terence, about 10 days for this one.
