Very beautifully done...great expanse of sky tones and well delineated birds.

I like your lighting effect here. It has a great sense of space, air, movement. Super

Thanks a lot Ruth and Angela.

Yep, you've done it again..... I seem to recognize this scene; was it one that Edward Seago painted? As has been said above, you convey space and atmosphere - and in the seemingly unpromising medium of black ink on paper. I should love to ask you a lot of boring questions about technique, how you start, whether you rough it out in pencil to begin with - but the more I know, the more I'd be tempted to try it: and I haven't got the eyesight! Astonishingly fine work.

Thank you Robert, no not a Seago, though we do come from the same 'Fine City'. You may have seen this as a card or L/E print. Thanks for not asking......just to say you are right about eyesight, I gave up drawing for a couple of years and took up photography just for that reason. But have had my eyesight corrected now and occasionally pick up a pen again.

Very effective. I'd like to see these drawings 'in the flesh'.
