My art club asked members to produce a piece depicting freedom. We were about to resume meetings for the first time since lockdown. I found the quotation online and created my painting around that. I made the silhouette silver mirror foil, so it was as if you were looking at yourself, moving from the dark cloud into the promise of better times.
