When I got to this point in the painting, I was told that I should stop and not paint any more...! As it is part one of a triptych, I was painting three pictures at once. I still have my plain air sketches, so might well paint version two one day?

Bother auto-correct, I should have checked...I think it should be "plein Air" in the last sentence of my comment!
