Lovely to see this preparatory sketch Jo, and your written instructions as an aid to your memory, so useful when painting. I like this very much and would happily frame it as it is.

Well the paper's been through the wars, but apart from that, you could have framed this and called it a finished piece - and still have produced your lovely painting from it: both would have stood up in their own right.
