Gary Greene shows you how to use two completely different approaches to painting lifelike textures with colored pencil-- layering circular strokes on a smooth paper to paint glass bottles; and underpainting and layering linear strokes on cold-pressed watercolor paper to paint a donkey. You'll love the depth, detail and intensity you can achieve with these techniques. In this preview he begins adding fur texture to the donkey's face on top of an underpainted area.
