Stephen Pawlyn sent in his painting saying: 'I used a recycled canvas board, prepared with 3 coats of light grey. I used Phthalo blue green shade and Ultramarine with the cerulean blue, yellow ochre and burnt sienna. For the sky I used 2 thin washes of cerulean and white. The rest I painted with layers of thick paint to achieve the slightly abstract look particularly in the foreground. I brightened up the foreground with a thin wash of burnt sienna and was pleased with the overall effect'
