Dear Linda Wilson so lovely that some one asked for the techniques but first thank you very much for your love for this work. I am daily working professional painter nothing in life except painting; this is oil paint on canvas with small brush stockes on different layers of thin paint.I first visit the spot visiualize more than many times and paint on the canvas of my mind then apply practicaly basic paints on the blank canvas then drawing with the brush and start applying multiple layers of thin paint. This process takes two to three sittings so that the layers get dry . I first concantrate on the sky that determine the mood of my compsition that i feel very difficult but enjoy a lot because the light effect play hide and seek with my imagination. After drawing the subject i start with small brush of 6 # scratching that show the color of under neath layer where i required. So the process is very simple the more a apply stockes the image start getting towards finishing stage. The main thing is your passion and determination with your work and sense of observation; i too romanticise the scene that is my style and in fantisy i feel somewhere else.
