Great atmosphere John

Super colour palette!

Thank you Heather and Linda for your comments. a poor quality photograph with washed out colours. I may try to add it again with a better camera.

Your painting has a lovely soft quality John, not just the palette but also the contours of the land....the hills and valleys. A warm glow all through the painting.

Thank you Fiona for your comments I was unhappy with the out come of the photograph although it looked alright on the camera there is more soft lemon colour in the sky and water reflection. The thing is me, cameras, and laptops don't get on to well...but I will try it again

You don’t suffer alone with technology John, I only use my iPad these days but the light has to be just right. I tend to take the photo on the floor...the painting not me.....in front of a north facing window, in this case, large patio doors. Or outside, if the weather is okay but not in sunshine. It would be worth taking another photo, even just for your own reference if not to replace here.

Thanks for the comfort and advise Fiona I will try your ideas and see how it goes. Best regards
