I often have problems with people using other peoples photographs. They often copy themslavishly, and I really cannot see the merit in the exersise. But this, wow, I take my hat off to you. its terrific. You have interpreted it in very much your own style and it is great to seej ust what can be done. Brilliant you..

I have to agree with your comment Sylvia.But I do find with old photos that if you try and put yourself back to that time, then they can become quite evocative and for an ex pat of 78years quite a lot of nostalgia creeps in.The scene can become whatever season you like I have even turned some of these into Winter views in fact the painting is only limited by your imagination.
