This could be a 19th century print, and I mean that as a compliment - it has character, thanks to the restrained colour, quality of light, and sharp calligraphic lines. Crisp and effective.

Superb pen and ink drawing. The only problem for me is the chap in the foreground looks about eleven feet tall!
