Rock Pool Northern Territory

I like this very much. beautiful colours and rendering. Just one comment. The 2 largish boulders on the right seem to be floating out of the picture. perhaps stronger reflections of them and stronger highlightson the left hand foreground might help.

Just had a wander around your gallery and couldn't agree more with everyones comments. Beautiful paintings full of atmosphere expertly painted in pastels. A feast for the eyes as someone said.

The curse of others' comments...... if Anthony hadn't said that about the two boulders, I just wouldn't have noticed, but now he has I can see what he means; maybe a line or two of reflection underneath them would counter the impression that they're floating away, but my initial observation was that this is a beautiful painting, with the pale greens against the strong reds, and if I'm not sure about those boulders, I can at least live with them..... but yes: on reflection, I think he's right.

You have me worried now.Anyway I sent it off the other day to Qld so will have to see what the feedback comes in like.I spent so much time trying to sort out the water I may have got a touch of tunnel vision,which,as you know,isnt hard to do.
