I like this rendering of a scene long gone. Distant trees show well but perhaps a deeper gap in the trees above the horse's collar might prevent the repetitive shape of the top of the hay wagon.

Hello Roger.Thank you for your comment,and tend to agree with you.On closer inspection I should probably have played down the background altogether.Possibly a light bluish toning would have pushed the trees back and also enhanced the wagon.This is a painting I sold around 6 years ago in fact was one of some hundreds I have on discs.Regards Keith
