Your pictures are really full of atmosphere, I actually thought this was an oil but even more impressed with the pastel. The others you posted are very professional, I dare say you are a full time artist judging by the standard of these.

Hello Angela.Thank you for your comment.No I am not really what one could call a professional though I do sell my paintings on ebay for a nominal amount. I paint purely as a hobby and have done since I retired 20 years ago.Originally I used to take them to all the local craft markets but now find that to hard,so try to do at least a painting a day to keep me occupied.I still do the occasional larger oil painting but cant get out much as I used to.Regards Keith Agar.

I'm very impressed with all your pastel paintings. I'd like to know how you manage such detail in such relatively small paintings with pastels...do you use pastel pencils for the thin lines and smaller details? Lovely work!
