David this has a slightly naive but powerful style, yet it's a pity you have not worked the RH side to complement the LH. I have just viewed your portfolio and like your choice of varied subjects. Do you paint from sketches as well as photos?

Thanks for your comment and looking at my artwork Derek. I paint from my own photographs or imagination. I do use my own sketches when I want to add extra items to my paintings, this is done under the heading of artistic licence. It is not my habit to sketch out what I want to paint, I proffer to make my drawing, directly on to the canvas.
