All sorts of things to like about this; the repetition of shapes, the nuanced reflections in the water, the atmospheric palette, and the birds bringing a calm painting to life.

Do you work outdoors Oskar, or at home? How long does a painting like this take you? By the way, it's very fine.

Thank you Robert and Kim for your comments. Kim - I work both outdoors and at home. I did this painting, 1/4 sheet, as preparation for a big painting 90x60 cm. I took pictures of the ships by the harbour and then painted at home. Although the weather in Iceland has been great lately there is so little light. It took about 45 minutes to complete the small painting. Óskar
