Oil on wood, 30 x 30 cm, 2023. I was inspired by the magazine story of this lady who is living a happy and active life despite the demands of dementia. I used a photo from the article as a reference and donated the painting to Mavis’ supportive family who, I was relieved to hear, were very pleased with the final result.
