Acrylic painting, close up of the keys on a tuba. I've painted several musical instrument sections (play a clarinet myself), and for this one I visited an orchestra friend of my mum's to get some photos of the tuba. Well... he didn't just have the one tuba, he had hundreds. All different shapes and sizes, and ages. New ones, second hand, or cut the bell off one and attached it to another, or built entirely from scratch using many broken bits from other instruments he'd collected over the years.
