Nice try, love the composition, couple of small tips. 1. Do them horizontally, on a bright day like you have, the lower left hand part of the sky would not be as intence as the upper part. 2. For the delicate branch work use a rigger brush, work the brush at different angles. One other thing, possibly try stippling with an old worn out brush, to get the small bush effects in the foreground. Try, give it a go, see what happens, also look into other people's techniques. Love your work, especially your drawings and portraits.
