Very nice work. Beautiful use of watercolour. Love all the tones. Looks great as three panels. What are your doubts about it?

These panels look superb together. Wonderful work Lynda.

Beautiful - you have been very busy!!

Smashing, all 3 together, each one worts in its own right

Lovely postings today, like them all !

Thank you Brett, Lewis, David, Heather and Valerie. I needed to keep them light because I wanted to frame them without mounts, for continuity. Then I thought they were too light, not enough difference in value. My ref photo had very little colour, and I tried to improvise, but again wasn't sure!

I admire the sensitive achievement of recession with the application of cool watery washes to the background. One's eye is taken through the picture with clever use of compositional theory, pausing at the yellow left hand side before heading off to the blue right. Very clever use if either resists or negative painting to suggest the pay of foreground light. Very good indeed.

A beautiful success Lynda, viewed as one or three separate paintings. They are all exquisite watercolours.

Thank you Philip and Fiona.

In like the tones - lovely watercolours

This is really effective, Lynda!
