Didn't need to look at the name Donna - I knew it was yours. Not heard of Lammas - except didn't the Hobbits have lammas bread to eat on their journey. I think I might be rambling!! Lovely and bright. It would be lovely if you could included a brief explanation of these festivals and Goddesses etc. So interesting.

I've tied my ribbon to the clootie tree and it was a yellow one!

Sorry Adele your right I should give an explanation as not everyone knows about the Wheel of the Year. Ker is the Grain Mother and she is honoured at Lammas around the 1st of August with feasting and celebrations. It is the time to harvest the seeds planted at Imbolc a wonderful time of abundance as the crops stand high in the fields. The Hobbits lammas bread was made from the grain harvested at lammas.
