Very well done. Yes, velour has a lovely texture for pastels....and for coloured pencils too!

Terrific pastel so strong and in contrast to your delicate watercolour of the little girl at the beach.

Always good when your materials work with you, rather than against ..... very good study, detailed but still lively.
