I've tried several times to get the colour of rapeseed, and have failed miserably; my efforts looked so garish and wrong that I destroyed them or painted over them. You have it here, and I think you're using a much warmer yellow than I did, perhaps Cadmium? Like this painting, especially the sliver of hot red on the roof, which sets it off.

Thank you Robert...yes, actually I think I used Aureolin for the field with a touch of Cadmium thrown in. The roof was Burnt Sienna which is one of my favourite reds.

Thanks for that; I used Lemon Yellow, which didn't work at all. Burnt Sienna is completely delicious in watercolour.
