Mike, again love your detail, arrangement and perspective. Question - I have noticed the vertical lines of your layout tappers in, as you get with a photo. Have you purposely done this or is this caused by the photo of your picture.

This is lovely - I can almost hear the seagulls, feel the brisk wind and see the beach beyond the picture. I, too, love the detail and the crispness I seldom see with oils.

Thanks Peter. I tweaked the perspective to get the effect I wanted. This was painted as a tribute to the late, great, Alfred Cohen. If you're ever in north Norfolk it's worth visiting his studio and gallery at Wighton near Wells. It's run by his widow Dianna and is well worth a visit.

Lovely crisp painting - all the detail of the place but you have executed it so well and avoided it being too fussy. Great work.

Painted in oil over an underpainting in acrylic. This was painted as my tribute to Alfred Cohen
