What a contrast to your sunny beach scenes. I tend to think of Australia as being bathed in sunshine 24/7, but you obviously get days of "very wet rain" like we do here in Scotland ! The reflections in this are very well painted, well done.

Great acrylic painting. the blending is very oil like which i find hard to achieve with acrylics (even the artelier Interactive ones). I really like the treatment of the wet paving and that yellow light gives the feeling of the storm passing . It has universal appeal too as this could be a scene from London or New York . I spent part of the summer 2008 working in London and most of the days i was there were like this.

Thanks everybody. Steve.. i sprayed the canvas wet before beginging and ketp it wet tillnear the end.. blending was easy.. i didnt mess around with doing it in pencil first and that was the key it kept things fluid and loose.. I do use atilier interactive...Australian company by the way.
