What wonderful images you have passing your door Midori. This guy has so much character....like him lots.

I always like your postings and this one doesn't dissapoint - great use of colours and so loose.

Love the dry- brushing of branches also like the splash of of vivid colour.

Midori. Lovely. Browsing your gallery has inspired me to get my watercolours out. Six years ago I was at a picnic and produced a very small but beautifully (in my humble opinion!) formed painting which was accepted for the Nottingham Open Art Exhibition 2006 (Now Nottingham Castle Open ..). I never did one like it again, because I couldn't quite free myself up from being concerned with photographic detail. You have reminded me of what you can do with watercolours. Just for interest I have included my picnic painting in my archive folder.

Beautiful washes and light and shade Midori. Your paintings are always so full of interest and characters.

Fabulous, Midori!

Wonderful!

I find the subject of your paintings really interesting Midori. I really admire the lovely loose style of your watercolours, and the colours you choose - vy attractive.

Hi Sylvia, Michael. Carole, Glennis, Fiona, Seok, Dale and julie, Thank you very, very much. Hi Gudrun, I'm happy to read your comment as well. I'm so surprised my works give stimulation to somebody. Watercolour is such a fantastic medieum. I'm fascinated. Somebody says we are not camera. Since I heard the words, my style has been changing. We don't have to paint what we see, we just add our feeling on it and Michael told me, portrait doesn't have to look like the models. Since I've started to post my works here, I'm growing a lot. All comments make me move forwards

Super painting - I love your glimpses of life in your part of the world - so colourful and entertaining.

I'm very lucky to live this apartment. I can see lots of things from my living room. This guy came to clean up date tree's braches yesterday.
