Beautifully painted crows, Midori. Thank you for your comment on my musician - it was seeing your loose paintings of people in Al Ain that inspired me to try and do something similar. So thank you for that too. Safe drive to Dubai and happy art shopping!

You use it like a diary - its really interesting and I love the birds which I seem to recognise from my travels but can't name

A lovely minimalist study of the birds Midori, enjoy your art shopping spree.

I love the fact that you use this site as your diary, Midori, and look forward to your posts everyday. Your paintings are always interesting and your accompanying commentary really brings everything to life. Keep it coming!

They look like 'Hooded crows' Midori, and wonderful they are too!

This is my favourite so far, because you have captured the character of the birds. I look forward to your posts. They are so varied and interesting.

I was amazed to see these lots of comments. I thought who would had payed attention to these tiny birds. Too tiny and too simple. However, I realized how long it take to complete to paint a piece is not important. That's why painting something is so much fun!!!! It is Wednesday, isn't it?. Happy Al Ain Watercolur club painting day at a flower park today!!!! ( I know this English ís strange. if somebody would like to fix this, I will appriciate.)

Your English is better than most English people, so don't worry! Love the simple painting. It's great and keep on posting.

We love your diary Midori, keep it coming. I like this as it reminds me of Chinese brush painting.

Thanks Michael, I'm pretty nervous, whenever I have to write in English. Painging is enjoyable, but writiing English is torture.

Hi Carole, Thanks. I love painting so much. Who can stop me? i used to do Caligaphy, when i was a child. At the time, I hated, but these days, I feel that experience is coming up. I love black and white works.

I love this painting very much, well done, look forward to seeing more of your art work.

I haven't seen this birds in Al Ain. When I went to Fujairah in December, I saw them a lot. From now I'm going to Dubai with an art friend to get some watercolour paint. 135km from Al Ain, it will take for 1.5 hours. So I did quick work this morinig.Sorry I'm using Paintesonline like my diary.
