I really like this picture and all it's little details, especially the little wrought iron balcony.

You are lucky to get this in the light of the recent disaster of the Clarence Hotel burning to the ground. These timber structures are so vulnerable. Lovely painting!

We visited Exeter in early October , before the tragic fire which destroyed so many historic buildings just next to scene of my painting . It makes me feel so sad all that history has been lost .
