Your paper really works with this treatment - may I ask what it was? It looks to have a stronger weave than Bockingford Rough. An effective painting - by the way, I suspect that this is a virtual frame, but when you do come to frame it I'd suggest a gentler shade for the mount than this harsh white: it's tending to outweigh your lightest white in the painting itself and pulls my ancient eyes out of the painting.
