nice one Mike .great show /we will have to try more ////,,shall we call it call it bare bones, watercolouring , just thinking/ mmm //// a quarter moon .or sun popping up at the back of the tree./making a silhouette take care

I like it Michael! Shows how little one needs to do to create a beautiful painting. I liked Alan's watercolour too.

lovely 'simple' watercolour,less is more.

Lovely simple scene! I like it.

I've got back as far as page 5 and found this little gem. I've said it before and I'll say it again...so simple but sooo effective.

Ah - the simple ones are always the best, eh! A great result for 15 mins work.

Bless you all - really grateful - yes Alan we should set a mini competition - via the forum maybe?

Based on Alan's recent posting (hope you don't mind Alan) reduced it down to the bare essentials and rather than making it a winter scene I opted for a bleak late autumn feel - took about 10mins (well OK - about 15mins - I had to get some water and fill the water pot). The ink was applied with an old feather which has a mind of its own. Hope you like it.
