Thanks to you all for your comments and encouragement - I do like simple country scenes and wish I had a few more to paint - will have to put on my boots and go out and about now that the weather is getting better

This is superb, Michael. A lovely classic watercolour, nice and clean and fresh. The blue on the mid-distance barns works a treat, and you've got a gorgeous green on the big tree nearby. You really excel at these country scenes, and I'd love to see more. Get those boots on!

Thanks Christopher - no I don't use squirrel mops and must try one - I use large size 18 or 20 pro arte and sometimes a large flat
