MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS USING THE STRONG IMAGE OF THE STEEL GUITAR BEING PLAYED SHOWING HANDS USING USING A SLIDE. THE TEXTURED WOOD BACKGROUND WAS ACHIEVED BY USING SALT AND ACRYLIC MEDIUM. THE ADVERTISING IMAGES WERE USED TO DEPICT THE 1930s ERA. THE MAP OF THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA WAS PAINTED ON THE GUITAR.
