A second historical figure with a connection to Melton Mowbray; a house was part of her divorce settlement it is now a pub named after her. After being familiar with the very serious Holbein portrait the glorious red hair came as a total surprise; by the time she was an adult it would probably have been cut a lot shorter but there was no way I was leaving it out of the picture! I did base her face on the Holbein painting.
