Another fan of Khadi paper! You have caught the grandeur of the building and I like how you have painted the turrets and windows. Looking forward to seeing the darks added as that will really make this stand out.

I was at the paint out last Wednesday but avoided the buildings as too challenging! You’ve handled this really well Matthew. I really like the tones and the complex roof area who you’ve captured very successfully. I’ll post mine when I’ve finished twiddling! A great day!

I agree with Tessa’s comment about painting buildings, mine was more of a couple of marks to suggest! You’ve done a great job here and you are right about taking time to add more darks.

Totally agree with former comments....it’s going to look fabulous with the darker tones you intend doing.

watercolour on Khadi paper, A3, done this morning in the rain first, then hot sun, in St James' Park. Ran out of time, and will have to add some darks and some definition another day.
