I sympathize with the loss of your dog; I too had one who lived for 19 years, and in the end I had to call an end to her suffering; and it felt like murder. She died 31 years ago, and I've never forgotten, and never will. I didn't paint her, though: and you have a memory in paint..... I did, however, paint my superannuated rat; and I did draw my old dog, so you've inspired me to paint her! Thank you for that.

thank you and your wellcome, I can honestly say it was one of the worst things iv ever had to do, taking lucy to the vets, she was suffering and i was waiting for her 2 go naturally, a very sad time, you start questioning yourself " have we got the right" and then telling the kids when they come home from school, i thought what have i done, it did feel like murder. On the bright side we rescued her when she was 12 years old from an awful life on the streets whith her vile owner, and we gave her some good years, she would have followed me in to the fire, she was soooooo faithfull. We were lucky to have her
