This is one of my first oil paintings. I did not have any concept in mind when I started to paint. I let my hand direct the brush go to the paint colours and just allowed it to form the image. The sideways view looks like an eye in a storm. Yet, the horizontal view is definitely a portal with an entrance open and light on the other side.
