St Oswald's lies in the shadow of the towering mass of Bolton Castle. It is believed that this 14th century church was built before the castle itself, mainly due to the position of an old sundial on the church walls - it is in the castle's shadow most of the day! Ink and wax resist on watercolour paper. 15" x 22"
