I create a yearly portrait! This years portrait is completed in collage. The collage elements are added first to create the big shapes of light anad dark. I then add ink to define the image and finally I add gouache to make sense of the collage elements. This is evident in the hair. I feel this is an image I will develop into a larger work complete with a background.
