Mark Highfield
Biography
I'm Mark Highfield from Chesterfield in Derbyshire. I'm 59 years old and have loved painting and drawing as far back as my school days. Having achieved GCE O level and A level in art many years ago I have mainly been self taught. I mainly paint in watercolour, which is my favourite medium, but also from time to time paint in acrylic, oils, and oil pastels. I also enjoy drawing using either pencils, charcoal sticks, charcoal pencils and graphite pencils. I enjoy painting a range of subjects including landscapes, still life, animals, people and portraits.
