Beautiful painting. So subtle. The colours are gorgeous. I wish I could get this beauty in my paintings. Try as I might, my colours always come out bold - even when I am trying to be subtle! (Maybe my painting is trying to tell me something???)

Love the slight hint of the landscape beyond and as always your work is full of atmosphere. I agree with Jean, your palette here is beautiful.

Redolent of the days when our buildings fitted into the landscape without trying to dominate it, or even worse today, when buildings have been planted in the countryside by people who obviously have no feeling for or awareness of landscape at all.... And your painting reflects this unity between building and environment - well done.
