St.Ives Harbour (pastel)

Lovely painting. I can really feel the swell of the water in this one, and the boats shifting with the movement. Ver good recession. Like it very much.

This is beautiful, soft and lively at the same time. I love the movement of the boats, wonderfully drawn, and the hazy depiction of St. Ives. I also love the colour harmony of the sky, town and boats. I've seen so many paintings of St. Ives, but never one as memorable.
