Gnome Cartoon #2

So glad you avoided the term 'Yard Sale' - I get so frustrated with the creeping use of American English into English English - if you know what I mean. Anyway love your depictions of the little chappies- seem to be part of POL culture already.

Very good Mark! I actually have a footballing 'foster gnome' he belongs to my son, a Bolton Wanderers supporter and has been left with me as my son works abroad. I keep looking at him and trying to think up a cartoon based on him but you beat me to it!

Love your little keeper chap. But I have a fixation with fingers and thumbs. Usually I draw too many you have not drawn enough... Or, just maybe ..gnomes are born with three fingers and one thumb . Wonder if that is a Gnomey syndrome. ??

Thank you. Do you know I have never thought about fingers and thumbs.... my cartoon characters all seem to have one less digit. It is the law of cartoons ( I am clearly making this up ). All my real people sketches have the correct number of digits and apendages. I am already thinking of my next Gnome....
