Yes, I can see very well who it is Mark. I have met the man and used to love him for what he was but as you said, all that has been taken away and I feel a personal trahisson. Very appropriate drawing and likeness.

Yes, I can indeed see who it is, and well-drawn. I don't feel any sense of betrayal, personally - I just feel overwhelmingly sad for the man and his wife - she certainly didn't deserve all that's descended on her; and as for him - I don't know: I see no point in sending a man of his age to prison, and I most certainly feel no sense of superiority or the least desire to condemn - did he take childhood dreams? He didn't take mine - mind you, I'm probably too old - because while I had no idea what he was really up to behind the scenes, I never bought into the act in the first place. We've got to face up to the fact one of these days that human beings are multi-faceted - what you see on the surface is never the whole answer, and all that ripping one mask off achieves is to reveal yet another mask. But then, I'd always rather forgive than condemn: and Harris is not an utterly bad man - there was good in him, and there still is. Take the devil's horns away, and you've still got a human being.
