Still practising

Like you colour selection Marjorie, it has a sense of atmosphere.

As a practise session,all looks really good. Still working with the water soluble oils ? Takes some getting used to, I found straight from the tube difficult, so now use both water sol. Linseed and stand oil, both have helped. Anyway your results are already looking very good.

Thanks both. Yes, still using the water soluble. I've got a special medium too. Apart from spilling some all over my paint tubes, haven't used it much. My oils are Cobra, quite malleable. John, I'm using a Zorn palette - yellow ochre, black, white and cad red but I did include cobalt today. Painting as much as I can really, it's the only way to get used to them.
