I painted this oils still life as part of a still life trilogy, contrasting light against dark & how this enhances colour vibrancy. In this piece I combined both the yellow & the blue to link all three pieces together ie yellow & then blue being the dominant colour in each of the others. Like its companions I added a black frame to complete the effect. I love working with vivid colours. These three work so well as individual & collective pieces. To paint these go to mazartacademy.com
